FAQ
How long does it take to get our photos delivered?
Portraits are usually delivered within 1-2 weeks depending on workload
What should we wear?
Wear something you feel good in! You want to look back at the images and remember feeling comfortable and beautiful. Earthy, muted and whites colours with flowy and cotton fabrics photograph really well and dont overpower the images, however if you feel great in bright colours then wear bright colours!
What shall I bring?
If you have any significant taonga, items or even animals that you want included in your portraits, feel free to bring them along! Throw blankets are always a nice touch in photos and gives us more range of angles/poses.
What time is best for a location shoot?
If the location is shaded (Kaiate Falls/Mclarens Falls etc) then we can shoot at any time of day. Otherwise I would recommend starting about 30-60 mins before sunset to catch the flattering lighting. Cloudy days are also perfect! The last thing you want is squinted eyes and sweaty foreheads from the harsh sun!
Do you require a deposit?
Yes I require a minimum 50% deposit to confirm your booking. Further info can be found in the contract
Do you "photoshop" people?
I am happy to remove temporary blemishes such as clearing skin from sores and acne etc however I do not like to edit natural body features or shapes. I aim to make you feel proud and confident in your natural beauty! Any editing above and beyond this will take more time and incur extra charges
Do you charge for travel?
I don't charge for travel to locations within Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Papamoa, Te Puke.
